A recognizedhealth services organization is currently seeking a licensedAnesthesiologist / Pain Medicine Physician to join one of their practices in Northern New Jersey.

About the Opportunity:

• Specialty: Anesthesiology / Pain Medicine
• Setting: Private Practice
• Schedule: Monday to Friday
• Hours: Standard business
• Patient Volume: 3 to 4 per day

Responsibilities:

TheAnesthesiologist / Pain Medicine Physician will:

• Assess patients before surgery to determine the best anesthesia plan
• Develop comprehensive treatment plans for patients dealing with chronic pain
• Administer various types of anesthesia, including general anesthesia, regional anesthesia, and local anesthesia
• Monitor the patient’s vital signs, adjust anesthesia levels as needed, and ensure the patient’s comfort and safety throughout the procedure
• Provide immediate postoperative pain relief through techniques such as epidural analgesia, nerve blocks, or intravenous medications
• Evaluate patients’ medical histories, perform physical examinations, and may order diagnostic tests to identify the underlying causes of chronic pain
• Perform other duties, as needed

Qualifications:

• Licensed to practice Medicine in the State of New Jersey
• Board Eligible / Certified in Anesthesiology and/or Pain Medicine
• Experience performing Pain Management procedures

Desired Skills:

• Pain Fellowship certified
• Experience with placing nerve stimulators
